DRDO DEAL Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Defence Electronics Applications Laboratory (DEAL) under Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) announces the DRDO DEAL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification for 77 Apprentice vacancies. This recruitment includes Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Apprentices. The online application process starts on 23 June 2026 and Last Date to Apply Online is 22 July 2026.

Applicants who are Indian nationals and have completed B.E./B.Tech, Diploma, or ITI in the relevant discipline with the prescribed marks. Only candidates who passed their qualifying examination during 2022-2026 are eligible. The apprenticeship training duration is one year and selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend ranging from ₹10,560 to ₹12,300 as per the job posts.

Graduate and Diploma applicants must apply through the NATS 2.0 Website i.e. nats.education.gov.in and ITI candidates must apply through the NAPS Official Website i.e. www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. Selection will based on academic merit, written test, interview, walk-in interview, or a combination of these methods, follow by document verification and apprenticeship contract approval.

DRDO DEAL Recruitment 2026 Eligibility

Aspirants must be Indian nationals who have passed the required qualification as regular students between 2022 and 2026. Graduate applicants must possess a B.E./B.Tech. degree with at least 60% marks, Diploma applicants must hold a relevant Diploma in Engineering/Technology with 60% marks, and ITI applicants must have an ITI certificate with NCVT/SCVT certification in the relevant trade.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and upper age limit is based on Apprentices Act-1961, Apprentice Rules-1992 and NATS 2.0/NAPS Guidelines. Candidates whose results are not declared by the closing date, who have completed apprenticeship training earlier, who are currently undergoing apprenticeship training, or who possess one year or more post-qualification work experience are not eligible.

Candidates holding a higher qualification than the qualification for the post applied for are also not eligible. PwBD candidates may apply only for the designated trades permitted under the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. Only candidates fulfilling all eligibility conditions can apply for the DRDO DEAL Apprenticeship Training 2026-27.

DRDO DEAL Apprentice Salary & Stipend 2026

Well, all the selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend during the one-year apprenticeship training period. Graduate Apprentices will receive ₹12,300 per month, Diploma Apprentices will receive ₹10,900 per month, and ITI Apprentices will receive ₹10,560 per month. The stipend is paid as per the applicable Government of India apprenticeship guidelines and DBT provisions.
