IET India Scholarship Award 2026
The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) runs the IET India Scholarship Awards. Students who are enroll in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year undergraduate engineering from AICTE/UGC-approved institutions with no age limit are eligible to apply online for scholarship. Under these scholarship award, eligible scholars who pass the Online Tests of Scholarship at Regional and National Level Rounds will get IET Scholarship Amount 2026.
And as it is 10th Special Editions of IET Scholarship 2026, the prize of scholarship is double that means now 20 lakhs is New Scholarship Amount. Applications are open now and deadline to apply online is 15th June 2026. After that, the IET Scholarship Test (STEM Test) 2026 at Regional Rounds and then National Rounds Test are held on 15 to 17 July 2026. At last scholarship prize is distributed after September 2026.

For the 10th Edition of 2026, the scholarship total prize is going to double from ₹10 lakhs to ₹20 lakhs. Prize Structure

Who Can Apply?
Well, the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) has set eligibility criteria to apply for scholarship. Here are key points of eligibility –
- Only an Indian student who is studying in an undergraduate engineering degree i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year engineering students are eligible.
- Must be studying in an AICTE- or UGC-approved institution in India.
- Students from all engineering branches and specializations are eligible to apply.
- Both IET members and non-members can apply. And IET Student Members receive an additional 15% weightage during application evaluation.

How to Fill IET India Scholarship 2026 Application Form?
- Visit the IET India Scholarship Award 2026 Official Website i.e. https://scholarships.theietevents.com/.
- From home page, click on Apply Now option.
- Now registration page will open.
- Fill in your personal details, including name, contact information, and address.
- Enter your academic details such as college name, branch, year of study, and CGPA/marks.
- Provide information about extracurricular activities, projects, internships, achievements, and leadership roles.
- Enter your IET Student Membership details (if applicable).
- Recheck all the details filled and click on Submit.
Selection Process
After filling IET India Scholarship Form 2026, the official review application and eligibility is done. Then Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Test 2026 Online is done at Stage 1 and Stage 2. And then North, East & Northeast, South 1, South 2, and West Wise these STEM Online Test is done. After that, the shortlisted applicants from Stage 1 will be invited to take an All-India online test. And then Regional Level Assessment are done. After that, National Finals of IET India Scholarship Awards are done on 2nd September 2026, at this 5 winners from the Regional Rounds make their presentations on their technology solution and their vision.
